Another great pitching duel as Port Club's Shawn Lawrence and P.J. Fuels' Philip Short limited the batters to twelve hits. Shawn pitched a terrific complete game to lead his team to their fifth consecutive win. Through eight innings, Shawn allowed six earned runs on seven hits, walked three and managed an impressive fourteen strikeouts. Philip Short was also strong as he gave up six earned runs on just five hits, walked nine and struck out seven batters. Offensive leaders were Port Club's Wayne Gilliam who went 1-3 ( one single with two runs scored ) and P.J. Fuels' Chris Tobin who batted 2-4 ( one single, one double with one run scored ).

Defensive play remains a problem for Weston Bakery as the team committed six errors and the pitchers struggled for control. In five innings pitched, Todd Strickland walked ten, knocked down five batters, and surrendered ten earned runs on ten hits. Reliever Paul Greene didn't fare better in one inning pitched as he was rocked for eight earned runs on seven hits. Weston's offense was led by Barry Edwards who went 2-2 ( one single, one double ) while Keith Symes added an inside the park homerun and scored three runs. P.J. Fuels' batting and pitching were all led by Kiley Edmunds. He allowed seven earned runs on ten hits, walked eight, struck out eight for the complete game win and went 3-4 at the plate ( two doubles, one triple with four runs scored ).

This game was also a back-and-forth affair as the teams exchanged the lead five times. Port Club rallied to tie the game at thirteen apiece in the fifth inning and then exploded for ten runs in the seventh to keep their undefeated streak alive. Leading Port's Clubs twenty-two hit barrage was Karl Strickland who batted 5-6 ( three singles, two doubles ) and scored once while teammate Shawn Lawrence scored five runs. Karl's effort helped him to earn his second complete game win as he struck out thirteen batters, walked six, and gave up eleven earned runs on twelve hits. P.J. Fuels' Philip Short was strong offensively with his own inside-the park-homerun, but defensively he struggled on the mound. Philip walked nine, struck out three and was rocked for fifteen earned runs. Teammate Kiley Edmunds continues to swing the hot bat as he added two more homeruns, a double and scored three runs, and finished at 3-4.

Fuels' twenty-one hit attack were back-to-back homeruns from Kiley Edmunds and Philip Short in the first inning, and a three-run homerun from Kiley in the second inning. Kiley also added two doubles and a triple, scored three runs to finish with solid 5-6 performance. The early offense enabled Philip to cruise to his second complete game win as he gave up nine earned runs on twelve hits, struck out seven and walked one. Taking the loss was Todd Strickland who allowed ten earned runs on eleven hits, walked seven, and struck out two, through four innings pitched while Mike Andrews came in relief for the remaining innings. However, this was their best showing to date as the game remained close until the very last inning. Todd Strickland was tagged with the loss despite a strong complete game showing. He managed one strikeout and gave up ten earned runs on only twelve hits. Todd's opponent, Shawn Lawrence was impressive for his first win of the year. In seven innings pitched, Shawn only gave up five earned runs on eight hits, struck out five and walked four batters. The top batters for the game were Corwin Purchase for Weston Bakery, hitting the first inside the park homerun of the season along with a single for a 2-3 effort with one run scored. Paul Sparkes led Port Club's offense by going 2-3 (two singles ) with three runs scored.

Kiley also threw a complete game in which he struck out seven, walked seven and allowed eight earned runs on just six hits. Kiley also led P.J. Fuel's offense with a perfect 3-3 effort ( two singles, one double ) with one run scored. Leading the offense for Port Club was Mark Simms who scored three runs and went 1-2 ( one single ).

P.J. Fuels came out swinging as they rocked Todd Strickland's pitching, and took advantage of several errors, en route to scoring twelve runs in the first two innings. Through seven innings pitched, Todd gave up fourteen earned runs on fourteen hits, walked eight, and struck out two batters. Three of the fourteen hits came from Chris Tobin who led P.J. Fuels' offense with a 3-5 effort ( three singles ) and scored three runs. Weston Bakery's twelve hit attack was led by Greg Davis who batted 3-5 ( two singles, one double ) and scored once. Claiming the win was Philip Short who pitched six innings and allowed eight earned runs on eight hits, walked seven, and struck out six batters. Kiley Edmunds pitched the remaining innings to claim the save.
